If you’d like to support me in other ways, I have set up a ko-fi account to help with commissions and giving perks to contributors. Here’s what you need to know:

  • To visit my ko-fi page click here
  • I do commissions! If there’s a specific ficlet you’d like to see me write, that’s the best way to do it :) I try to get those within a week. Prices range from $1-5 and including everything from emoji ficlets, trope prompts, to beta-reading.
  • You can sign up to be a monthly contributor! Like Patreon, it would allow you access to bonus features. It’s set to $3/month!

Ko-fi now has this feature that I can post content exclusively for people who are monthly contributors! 

Bonuses/perks for contributors:

  • When I’m working on new projects - both fic and original - I will be posting early sneak peaks on my ko-fi! This could be early access to chapters, snippets, or behind the scenes info on my writing process.
  • Live writing! This is based on my availability, but I sometimes do live-writing sessions where you can watch as I work on prompt fills or new chapter releases.
  • Voting on prompts / prompt submissions! I sometimes ask monthly contributors which prompts from my inbox they’d most like to see filled, and work on those first :) I’ll also have a form for submitting prompts similar to my commission feature!
  • Giveaways! As I collect more merch related to my writing, I’ll do giveaways to ko-fi subscribers :) (Tumblr followers will get chances to enter too, but some prizes will be reserved for ko-fi patrons)

I will still be posting calls for prompts etc on my tumblr! I’m in general not open for prompts, but still take them from time to time - nothing’s changing! I will still be updating my ao3 with new fics! That’s not changing, either :) This is just putting in place a way to support me and help readers get specific things they want but otherwise might not be able to find/get.

What time is it? IT’S KICKSTARTER TIME!

You’ve heard “All For One!”; now get ready for “One For All!” Duck Prints Press is thrilled to bring a whole new meaning to the Musketeers’ famous slogan in one inclusive book with a little bit of something for everyone: Aim For The Heart: Queer Fanworks Inspired by Alexandre Dumas’s “The Three Musketeers.” For this collection, we recruited 20 authors and 16 artists who love Athos, Porthos, Aramis, d’Artagnan, Milady, Madame Bonacieux, and the whole gang from Dumas’s wonderful historical melodrama. These creators’ mission was simple: take this long-adored story and make it queer! The result is an amazing collection of works exploring the nuances of these characters, delving into issues of identity, gender, and sexuality—telling and retelling a story we all know and love. 

If you’ve ever looked at The Three Musketeers and thought, “huh, idk, that’s kinda gay…I wish it was more gay,” then you are NOT going to want to sleep on this anthology. We’ve been working on this amazing project since last fall, and we are over. the. moon. to finally be bringing it to y’all. Each story is up to 5,000 words, and each artwork is black-and-white/grayscale and full-page. There’s even a 12-page comic!

You get used to the frank discussions of sexuality and kink, the close attention to diversity and social justice issues in the text, the unrestrained creativity when it comes to plot. The most amazing, creative, engaging stories I’ve ever read have almost all been fanfiction, and I think part of that is because there’s no limitations placed on the authors. They’re writing purely out of joy and love for the world and its characters, with no concerns about selling the finished product. The only limit is their imagination. Next to that, most mainstream fiction starts tasting like Wonder Bread, you know?”
